The flag of SNSD is prescribed in the party's Statutes as "red, rectangular in shape, with the [party] symbol in its centre, and below it the abbreviation 'SNSD' and the full name.
The flags are prescribed and used in two versions, with the inscription either in Cyrillic (photo) or in Latin script.

The flag was adopted on 28 July 2003, replacing a previous flag with a blue background instead of red.
